Emmanuel Mensah, a US Navy Personnel and Registered Nurse Mercy Amo got married on August 6 in Virginia!
The dutifully signed and sealed their marriage sealed their marriage in the United States of America.
The pair met in June, 2015 through the Groom’s cousin, who happened to be the Bride’s friend in 1999, the Groom told her on that first day they would get married one day. They started dating in and got engaged in December.
The couple’s engagement was held at the Bride’s dad compound, the white wedding same day at Port-Potomac, Woodbridge, Virginia USA and same day had their engagement.

How We Met by the bride, Mercy
It was in June, 2015 when I met Emmanuel through his cousin who happens to be my friend. We communicated, hanged out and got to know a lot more about each other. At the time we first talked, he lived at Virginia Beach and l lived in Woodbridge which was just 2 hours apart from Virginia. He proposed to me in one of my favourites restaurants in Virginia Beach (Bahama Breeze) in December 2015 and from there we started planning our wedding. We put a lot of time and resources into the planning of the wedding and it turned out to be a very beautiful and blissful wedding. It was well organised and well filled with traditional music and dance of which most were able to relate to. In addition, varieties of continental dishes that were made available. We were honoured to have families and friends who travelled from around the globe to witness our marriage ceremony. Indeed, there’s none like our God, our marriage ceremony brought great reunion among families, God’s glory was seen and it was such a joyous moment.
