England forward Eniola Aluko has signed a new contract with Women’s Super League One club Chelsea Ladies.
The 29-year-old, who has 102 international caps, is in her second spell with Chelsea, after rejoining the club in 2012 from Birmingham City.
“I love this team. [It was] an easy decision,” Aluko told the club website.
Emma Hayes’ side – who won the league title and the Women’s FA Cup in 2015 – are currently second in WSL 1 and face leaders Manchester City on Sunday.
Chelsea manager Hayes added: “Eni has proved to be not only a Chelsea girl in her heart, but someone who has adapted and evolved during my tenure.
“She’s a competitor, a serial winner and someone who wants to continue winning year after year. She’s the calibre of player we want at this club.”
The length of Aluko’s new deal has not been disclosed.
