In recognition of monumental efforts and achievements, Pleasures Magazine today acknowledged and honoured the Head of Programme, Management and Coordinator of the Presidential Committee for North East Initiative (PCNI), Mr Mohammed Danjuma with the African Development Recognition Award for being an Eminent African who upholds the virtues of Honesty, Integrity and Accountability and for his Humanitarian Service to the people of Nigeria and beyond.
The award was presented to him in his Abuja office by the Publisher of the Accra based Magazine, Mr Babatunde Olaoluwa.
While presenting the award, Mr Olaoluwa described Mohammed Danjuma as a person without questionable character in his area of success and achievements.
“He has contributed immensely to the development of society and country at large. He cannot therefore be excluded from this prestigious honorary award,” Mr Olaoluwa disclosed.
Responding, Mohammed Danjuma, commended the Magazine for honouring him, adding that he would work hard and continue to champion the cause of honesty, accountability and humanitarian services.
Past winners of the award include the immediate past Ghana’s First Lady, Mrs Lordina Mahama, the Inspector General of Ghana Police Service, H.E. John Jerry Rawlings, former President of Republic of Ghana, the CEO of Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Mrs Mawuena Traberh. Ghanaian Actress Roselyn Ngissah, Mr. Sonie Irabor, Hon. Abike Dabiri, Senator Ojudu Babafemi, CEO of UT Bank, Mr Prince Amoabeng amongst others.
Mr Mohammed Danjuma is also the President of the Arewa Transformation and Empowerment Initiative, a youth empowerment programme designed to build the capacity of youth in the Northern part of Nigeria.
