Bishop Peter Kayode’s Awakeners International church Accra Ghana held a two day National Women empowerment Conference, with the theme. “WOMEN UNITING FOR PROGRESS“. The Conference, which was on Wednesday 26th July and Sunday 30th July witnessed large attendance of Congregation and Reverend ministers. and Medical officers who gave life changing messages for the purpose of empowering women and encouraging them to take their rightful place in the affairs of their home , Church and community the belong. The speakers at the conference were Reverend Joycelyn Dankwa, Founder/ General Overseer , Shepherdfold ministries London. Miss Christi Thomas, a women empowerment advocate and convener of Women care Ghana also delivered a powerful talk at the program.. .The conference was organise under the auspices of Awakeners Kingdom Ladies, the women ministry of Awakeners International Church under the leadership of Lady Luluoni Falarungbon the wife of the founder.
During the climax of the conference, Bishop Peter Kayode Falarungbon distributed food items to the widows, single parents and less privileges as part of the Church humanitarian activity. Awakeners International Church was founded in 2003 by Akure born Nigerian Bishop Kayode Falarungbon who is married to Lady Lulu Falarungbon, a Ghanaian minister of the Gospel. Through his ministry, multitude have been saved, healed and delivered through the grace of God in his life Bishop Kayode is an author and Gospel artist with many albums to his credit.
