Profile of Nigerian Billionaire Abdulrahman Musa Bashar

Abdulrahman Musa Bashar was born on October 1, 1976 in Sokoto, Northern Nigeria, into the family of Hajia Safiya Musa Bashar and Alhaji Musa Bashar. His father is a retired senior civil servant who served at the High Court of Justice in Sokoto State. Alhaji Musa Bashar is the Majanon Sakkwato, a traditional title under the Sultanate Council Sokoto. 

He obtained National Diploma in Business Administration at Sokoto State Polytechnic and BA (honorarium). He is an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello Academy in Sokoto. An honorarium of Universite Internationale Al-Nahda Niamey, Republique of Niger (Doctor in Business Administration). 

Abdulrahman established Rahamaniyya Global Resources in October 2003 which is now known as Rahamaniyya Group of Companies) trading in oil and gas. The group specializes in trading with specific focus on the Nigerian market. He is the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Rahamaniyya Oil and Gas located in Apapa, Lagos State and aviation fuel depot located at Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, Nigeria,  Rahamaniyya Shipping and Maritime, Rahamaniyya Estates and Logistics, Rahamaniyya Fertilizer plants (located in Sokoto, Northen Nigeria), Rahamaniyya Rice Mills and Noodles & Pastas (located along Abuja-Kaduna road, Jere town, Kaduna State), Rahamaniyya Airline (licenced by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority to commence business in 2022), and Ramaniyya Transportation and Haulage.

Abdulrahman established Ramaniyya Foundation to mentor young Nigerians in the area of business. the foundation set up scholarship for orphans, people with disabilities, Almajiris, and internally displaced persons affected by the conflict in the northern part of Nigeria.
