Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, the Founding Pastor and General Overseer of Glorious Wave Church International has held a massive party at his Sakumono-Tema based church to celebrate his birthday on Friday May 3, 2018.
The party was attended by several dignitaries, including a delegation representing former President John Dramani Mahama – led by Mr. Julius Debrah former Chief of Staff, former Defense Minister, former Tourism Minister, also present was former Dep Tourism Min Hon. Dzifa Gomashie, in addition Chairman of the National Democratic Congress – Mr. Kofi Portuphy. Others were Hon Elvis Afriyie Ankrah and Hon Addae-Nimoh a very senior NPP party official.
Traditional authorities were not left out. Representative of His Majesty the Asantehene – Otumfou Osei Tutu the second, His Majesty the Ga Mantse, Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II and well known celebrity faces – Afia Schwarzenegger, Joyce Blessing, Roselyn Ngissah, Keche brothers, Counsellor Lutterodt etc . Businessmen such as Mr. K. Ofori and Dr. Nii Otibu Asare were also present to celebrate the man of the people.
Some of his fellow clergymen at the event includes; Bishop Salifu Amoako, Apostle Dr. Dauda Maiwaazi from Nigeria, Pastor Chief Mensah, Prophet Owusu Afriyie, Bishop Prince Asare, Rev. Obofour amongst others.
A blessing to the body of Christ, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi is an apostle of Christ with a strong prophetic anointing. God has called him to reach the nations of the world with a mandate to turn millions of souls to Christ and to establish them in the grace of God. His ministry has taken him around the world preaching and teaching the word of God with miracles, signs, and wonders following in the power of the Holy Spirit.
‘Papa’ as he is affectionately called by his followers is an accomplished leader. God has used him to raise thousands of ministers several of whom have become giants in the faith around the world. He is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars in Ghana and in many other countries around the world.
As a person, Prophet Kobi is a man of impeccable character, a man of his words. A kind and generous man who has supported many charities in many diverse ways. He has given countlessly and a few of such instances include the gift of a Toyota corolla to Mrs Ofori Atta, a close relative to the current President by marriage, when she celebrated her 85th birthday and donations to orphanages and needy people across the country.
This great preacher of the Word is a bold man, very courageous; he is a man with a lion’s heart, very passionate in whatever he believes in. He has an uncommon dimension for the gift of the Word of Wisdom, which he has utilized and is still utilizing effectively to bless millions of souls all over the world and to advance his Ministry.
As a man of God, he is a man of vision, a pioneer and a revolutionary who is extremely focused. I am very excited that in spite of so many successes, achievements and great projects, his primary focus still remains an-end time change agent. We at Pleasures Magazine, headed by one of his sons, Otunba Ola Babatunde rejoice with him and we congratulate him wholeheartedly. We celebrate him for many outstanding achievements. We urge him to know that the best is yet to come. You have come a long way from where you used to be, but you are still far from where God is taking you to. You must not relent in the pursuit of God, evangelism, pastoral care and church planting. You will yet birth many outstanding projects that will bring positive revolution to the African race and the whole world. The Lord will take you from glory to glory, in Jesus name, Amen!
