Serena Williams and Drake may have called it quits last year, but the professional tennis player still seems to have some nice things to say about him. In a new interview, Williams is asked a bunch of different questions about her personal life and she seemingly gives the Toronto rapper a sweet shout out.
On Thursday, Vogue released a YouTube video of Williams answering 73 random questions. The athlete is asked about a number of things including what superhero name she would pick, her Hollywood crush, what her victory dance looks like, her favorite mobile app and her thoughts on the Pokémon Go craze. While Williams’ answers are extremely entertaining, her responses to questions about her love life really piqued our interest.
At one point, Williams is asked what is the most romantic thing a guy has done for her. The 34-year-old smiled coyly and said “it hasn’t happened yet.” She also seemed to give Drake a nice mention when she was asked who the funniest person in her life is. With a broad smile on her face, Williams said “Aubrey.” Of course, Williams could have been referring to a close friend or family member named Aubrey but because Drake’s real name is Aubrey Graham, there’s a chance she was talking about the “Hotline Bling” rapper.
The tennis pro also said during the Q&A that Rihanna’s song “Work” — which features Drake — always makes her dance.
It’s believed that Drake and Williams dated off and on for the past several years. Neither has ever confirmed their relationship, and it was reported last year that they had called it quits. Drake has since moved on and is rumored to be dating another on-again, off-love, Rihanna.
In May, People magazine reported that Rihanna and Drake have been “secretly dating for months.” A source said the pair is purposefully keeping their romance under wraps because “this around, they want to do it right and keep their relationship private.”
