A group of heavily armed kidnappers on Thursday, September 30, 2016 abducted Margaret Emefiele, the wife of Nigeria’s Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele.
According to Sahara Reporters, a source close to Mr. Emefiele said that Mrs. Emefiele was kidnapped along the Benin-Agbor Road. The kidnappers were reported to have made contact with Godwin Emefiele, adding that they were demanding a huge sum in ransom.
