Nollywood veterans, Joke Silva, Jide Kosoko and Adebayo Salami, will star in upcoming television series, ‘Battleground’.
The new series is produced and directed by Femi Odugbemi in collaboration with Africa Magic.
Battleground revolves around a controversial and extremely wealthy family patriarch.
It is a one-hour series which tells the story of power, love, deceit, and intrigue.
Battleground features an interesting mix of talents – from theatre thespians to music and of course Nollywood stars.
Other members of the cast apart from the aforementioned trio are Gbenga Titiloye, Kunle Coker, Ini Dima-Okojie, The Voice finalist Chike, Yinka Davies, Yeni Kuti, Steve Ogunleye, Bikiya Graham-Douglas, and Zara Ejorh.
Shaffy, Ozzy, Francis Onwochei, Hauwa Allahbura, Keturah King and many entertainers are expected to make cameo appearances every week.
The director, Odugbemi, is the founding director/producer of Tinsel, Africa Magic’s longest running television soap opera.
‘Battleground’ will start airing on Africa Magic from May 1.
