“The relationship between Ghana and Nigeria started even before the independence and today we have become one family, culturally, the two countries have become so close, economically, Nigerians prefer coming here to do business other than any country, so are Ghanaians, as we have a lot of our Ghanaian brother and sisters in Nigeria and they are doing well.
Politically, the two countries are almost the same and when we talk of the Sub Region, Ghana and Nigeria has played prominent roles in ECOWAS as well as ECOMOG. So I think we are just one people, if not for the two French countries between us we would have been like one big country’.

“They are called upon to engage in activities that are lawful, by doing that, I am sure we are going to have cooperation and we will not have a clash with our host community, so this we impress on our people, to engage in lawful businesses and also ensure that they abide by the laws.”
These, he says, includes improving the scope of engagement with government and the business sector, as well as promoting investment between the two countries.
