Creative Director, Ms Selina Bebaako-Mensah in her quest to make quality products that will
meet international standards, attended a course in Bag making and Designing at the prestigious
Fashion School- Academy of Costume and Fashion in Rome, Italy in September 2015.
The brand was established in March 2012 and has since participated in numerous exhibitions
and fashion shows including New Orleans Fashion Week, 2018, GUBA expo 2014 and 2016 in
the UK, Africa Fashion Week, London 2015 and Glitz Africa Fashion Week in 2016 and 2018.
Selina Beb won two international awards at THE 6TH BI-ANNUAL EUROPEAN INVENTORS AND
INNOVATORS NETWORK (EUWIIN) AWARDS 2017 in Bari, Italy.
Also, the brand has won the Accessory Designer/brand of the year 2015 at the Glitz Style
Awards in October 2015 and won an award for exceptional Achievement in High-End Fashion
Accessories at the Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards in 2016. Selina Beb was also
nominated for Accessories Brand of the year for 2015 at the Ghana Fashion Awards and
nominated for the best Fashion Start-UP at the 2016 and 2017 Start-Up Awards. We were also
nominated for a Ghana UK Based Achievement (GUBA) Award in London last month (June).
Our CEO was named as one of the 100 most outstanding Women Entrepreneurs in Ghana and
the brand/company was listed in the 100 Globally Competitive Start-Ups in Ghana. Our brand
