With the undisputed reputation of being one of the most religious people on earth, it is a common sight to find Ghanaians daily attending religious activities in a manner that beats the imagination of many.
This unparalleled religiosity has been attributed to the timeless hunger for spiritual renewal among the populace. It is therefore in response to this and many other religious pursuits that the House of Miracle Ministry is organizing its 2016 edition of the annual December to Remember conference. Titled: Take Over. The event scheduled to commence on November 28, and according to the church, this is being put together to impact, empower and spiritually refresh Ghanaians. Stating the Conference is a time for the church and Christians to take over and possess their possessions.
In an interaction with the founder of the church, Prophet Sampson Amoateng, he told Pleasures Magazine that the conference was inspired by the scripture, Obadiah 1:17, which says: “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.” Therefore now is the time for us as Christians to take over the land of Ghana, to take over everything that belongs to us. Enough of “I can see this, I can see that”. This is the time to take it, this is the time to take over, this is the time to possess the blessings,” he said.
An aspect of the message, which the man of God described as remarkable, is the fact that the conference would also prepare Ghanaians for this year’s general elections. “Indeed, it is the time to dominate, to take charge of the affairs of the nation”. Also talking about the special ‘Stars in Worship’ event, he said the gospel concert has become an annual unifying factor among Nigerian/Ghanaian stars, who often look forward to the enriching experience that comes from it.
Alongside host and founder of the House of Miracle Ministry, the enigmatic preacher, Prophet Sampson Amoateng is a wide array of great ministers of the gospel which includes the three siblings of the host pastor: Pastor Daniel Amoateng (UK), Prophet Brian Amoateng (UK), Dr Mark Amoateng (USA), Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi and Bishop James Kweku Saah.
